Checking Out A TV Panasonic

By Ian Salisbury

So you still have your old cathode ray tube televisions sitting on your table at home. Your kids have been nagging you for years to upgrade to a nicer flat screen model. And you just got a raise at work, so it is time. When you go shopping for your new ultra modern TV Panasonic has some items waiting for you to see.

The way we watch programming has changed incredibly. You cannot find a TV for sale anymore that is not flat. It seemed to happen overnight. One day you went to the store and there were some flat screens and some of the traditional CRT type units. Then the CRT's disappeared. Now it is flat as far as the eye can see.

And watching television programming is one of the last things you will probably do with your unit. These days, people use their TV's more for playing games, surfing the internet, or watching movies. You can do all of these things in various and interconnected ways. You can watch movies and play games online. You can use your gaming system to watch Netflix. The lines are very blurry, but your screen is very clear.

Believe it or not, the big move this year with Panasonic is to team up with Myspace. Yes, Myspace is still out there. It did not go away seven years ago like it seemed to. And it is ready for its comeback. It has teamed up with one of the largest electronics companies and is poised to nudge Facebook and Twitter over to take its place as a respected social media. We will see if it happens.

If you are talking top of the line today, you are talking plasma. It gives you a rich, cutting edge sharp image. It also is beginning to cross that coveted line from two dimensions into three. Many units coming out this year give a rich three dimensional experience without requiring you to wear those silly glasses. This immersive experience gets better and better with improved technology.

And when it comes to entertainment, size does matter. Buying an enormous screen that fills up your entire living room wall is now available at a price that would make Ray Bradbury roll in his grave. Creating the parlor that he envisioned, and despised, is now in the reach of most Americans.

So when you go shopping for a brand new, top of the line TV Panasonic has what you are looking for. You can buy them online or in your local electronics store. Just pick out the size, how much internet connectivity you want, and get your Apple product ready for remote interaction, as most iPads and iPhones are able to interact with these units directly.
