How To Add Apps To Your Tablet

By Abby McDonnis

If you own an android phone or tablet, then you are possibly wanting to obtain some of these applications onto your device. But how precisely do you go about it? There are 2 kinds of downloadable applications on the market these are generally the free and paid variety.

The free ones are obviously free of any charges and the paid ones can only be downloaded after you have purchased all of them. Typically the cost is quite low.

After you have decided on the type of download you want, all you've got to do is click the 'Android market application' over the screen of your tablet or phone. When you do that, an internet search engine is released and it is used to search for the application.

One thing to note though is that most search engines, such as Google usually do not really monitor individuals who upload apps on to the web and as such, you might run into a few applications that contain some bugs in them, have malware or are simply just substandard quality. To minimize these though, Google has come up with a filtering approach which makes use of a grading system to eliminate such applications.

The grading system works by providing stars for an app. The greater stars an app has got; the better it is. Also, it has review sections where consumers can leave their responses with regards to the application.

However, before downloading something off the web and uploading it on your android device or mobile phone; you need to pay attention to particular aspects of the software as to prevent malware and spy ware. You need to always look at how many times the app has been downloaded ; the more the better.

You must also check out the creator of the app. It must preferably be a popular and reliable developer who has a number of other legitimate applications.

You must also take note of the permissions that the app requests. The permissions may be obvious or they might be defined. When they appear too aggressive though, you may like to let that one pass.

If you wish to take up computer programming and be an android developer you then possibly know that it is not a difficult task; as anybody with knowledge of object oriented programming and Java can do it.
